Job Title: Health Insurance Agent

Salary Range:

Starting training pay: $20 hourly (1-2 weeks)
After training pay increase: $25 hourly
$1000.00 bonus after training and license issue

Position Details:

New employees will start by taking a 20-hour health insurance training course and pass a final exam to become licensed health insurance agents. After passing the exam and obtaining your National Producer Number (NPN), your pay will increase to $25 an hour. You’ll receive a $1,000.00 bonus when your license is issued (usually 7 days after finishing training.) As a health insurance agent at American Health Partners, you will be expected to copy data from provided leads to enroll them in a health insurance plan from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. We have a one-hour lunch at noon. After lunch, agents will call, text, and email clients who haven’t responded to gain consent to finalize their health insurance enrollment from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. We advertise on the web and do not do any cold calling. These are warm leads looking for help. Agents must complete a 2-hour continuing education course every 2 years to maintain their health insurance license.
